Welcome back little friends preschool families! We are blessed to have you all back. This school year will be a great one! I would like to take the time to answer some of the most asked questions we’ve had so far. If you have any other questions please don’t hesitate to ask any of the Teachers or myself.

*As you all know every child needs to have a Blanket and a Pillow for naptime, this is a Licensing regulation so please provide your child with these every day. Pillow and Blanket will need to go home every Friday.

*Toys from home are to be brought to school only on FRIDAYS FOR SHOW AND TELL.

*Please pack your child with a well- balanced lunch. Some sort of Protein, a drink and fruits and vegetables. No candy, cookies, Soda, Gum, fruit roll ups, Gummies are allowed for Lunch.We do sell emergency Lunches for $5.00 each. Please fill out the “Oh No I forgot” lunch form on the sign in table, and hand it to a teacher. The $5.00 payment will need to be paid on the same day that the Lunch is served. No IOU’S please.

*Please make sure that your child has extra clothes in their cubby. If your Child has an accident please make sure to take the wet clothes home, and bring in clean clothes the next day.

*Lessons begin at 9:00 a.m. Please have your child here before this time. Breakfast is served between 8:30 and 8:55 a.m.

 *School will be closed on Monday September 7, 2015 in honor of Labor Day.

As you know I have scheduled our fall fieldtrips.

Tuesday September 29th

Gizdich Apple Orchard 55, Peckham Rd, Watsonville, CA 95076

The Price for this fieldtrip is $16.00 per Child and Adult. This amount will cover for the Bus ride, Apple Picking, Apple Juice sampling and Johnny Apple Seed lesson.

We will start loading up the children at 7:45 a.m. The School Bus will be leaving the Preschool at 8:00 a.m. Sharp. We should be back at the Preschool no later than 1:30 p.m. ALL CHILDREN AND CHAPERONES MUST TAKE LUNCH FROM HOME. SHOPPING IS NOT ALLOWED. PARENTS THAT TAKE THEIR OWN TRANSPORTATION CAN SHOP AFTER WE LOAD UP THE BUS TO COME HOME.

Friday October 23rd

Casa De fruta, 10021 Pacheco Pass Hwy, Hollister, CA 95023

The Price for this fieldtrip is $20.00. This price is higher than what I would like it to be, but you will get your money’s worth. This amount will cover for your transportation, a Carrousel ride, a train ride, a Pumpkin, the mining activity, the Tee pee area, snack, and a lesson activity that varies every year.

We will begin to load up the children at 8:15 am. The School Bus will be leaving the school at 8:30 a.m. Sharp. We should be back at the preschool no later than 2:00 p.m. ALL CHILDREN AND CHAPERONES MUST TAKE LUNCH FROM HOME. PARENTS THAT TAKE THEIR OWN TRANSPORTATION CAN SHOPE AFTER WE LOAD UP THE BUS TO COME HOME.

Parents please have in mind that the returning hours are estimations. Please consider that if there is traffic of some sort, this will change. Please see me personally if you have any questions about the fieldtrips.

 Tuesday September 22, Picture Day. Pictures will start being taken at 8:00 a.m. I will be sending out the order forms as soon as they are made available to me.

Back to School will be on Thursday September 24, 2015.

We will be having a Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser. The Plate will include Spaghetti, Salad, and a piece of bread. A drink will be included, Lemonade. The cost per plate will be $5.00. Tickets will be sold in advance during the previous week. The Dinner will be available after 4:00 p.m. We will stop serving at 7:00 p.m. Families are welcome to have their dinner in the Dining Hall located by the Perfect Panda class.

The fundraiser will support the school with inside and outside toys. Ingredient donations are welcome, but not mandatory. In advance, thank you for your support!
