June Newsletter

The end of our 2013-2014 school year is just around the corner and we at Little Friends Preschool have bittersweet feelings. We are very proud of our graduates, but are very sad thinking that soon some of them will be embarking on another journey called kindergarten and elementary school.

These are important dates to mark on your calendar.

Thursday, June 12th- Graduation. Mrs. Tammy Sanders will be here to take our Graduation pictures, between 5:00 p.m. and 6:15 p.m.  All children who are graduating should be fed, and dressed in their Cap and Gown before coming back to school. All friends and family are welcome to attend the graduation ceremony and join us in the dining hall afterwards for cake, punch and photos. * Caps and Gowns will be delivered on the week of graduation.*

Friday, June 13- Father’s Day breakfast. This event will be from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. During this event all the dad’s, grandpas, uncles, stepdads, great-grandpas and godparents can enjoy a delicious breakfast, and enjoy the beautiful gifts that the children have been working on. We look forward to seeing you there!

Monday, June 15- School will resume.

Monday, June 22- summer program begins. We will be announcing the theme for the summer program in fliers to come.

The school will be closed on summer Holidays and during the week of August 11th-15th. This week will give Teachers a time to prepare for the new school year that will begin on Monday, August 18.

It has been decided by the board that tuition prices will not be going up. Pastor Bud strongly believes that Christian education needs to be affordable. Even though the tuition rate will stay the same, the board has decided that beginning this new academic year a $50.00 book fee will be charged to students in the Preschool and Kindergarten side. This would include the Magical Monkey, Loveable Lion, and Beautiful Butterflies classes. The payment will be due with your August tuition. Thank you for your cooperation and attention on this matter.

From all the Little Friends staff, we would like to thank you for making this 2013-2014 school year a very productive one. May the light of God continue blessing the lives of our little friends who will be embarking on new journeys, and may He also continue to bless their families!

          Sincerely,

                      Mrs. Johana
